What counts as an electrical emergency?

Burning smell from an outlet or panel, visible sparking or arcing, complete loss of power to part of your home, a breaker that trips repeatedly and will not reset, exposed wiring from damage, or water in contact with electrical components. If you are unsure, call and describe it. We will tell you honestly if it needs same-day attention.

How fast can you get here?

Active safety hazards go to the front of the queue for same-day dispatch. Exact timing depends on current call volume and your location, so we give you a realistic window when you call rather than a promise we cannot keep.

Do you charge more for emergency calls?

The diagnostic visit to make the situation safe is quoted upfront. Any follow-up repair work is priced the same as a standard service call. We do not add emergency surcharges or after-hours markups.

Should I turn off my main breaker?

If you smell burning, see sparking, or notice heat at your panel, yes. Flip your main breaker off and call us. If the issue is isolated to one circuit and you can identify which breaker controls it, turn off just that one. When in doubt, shut off the main. Better safe.
