Electrician Brooklin
Your north Whitby electrician. New-build upgrades, EV chargers, and the village's older homes all covered.
Brooklin is technically Whitby, but anyone who lives there knows it runs on its own clock. The historic village core has homes more than a century old, while everything around it has gone up in the last twenty-five years, with new phases still building out toward the 407.
That mix shapes the work. Newer Brooklin homes come to us for EV chargers, basement finishing, pot lights, and smart switches. The village’s older homes need the deeper work: service upgrades, grounding, and the occasional knob-and-tube discovery behind old plaster. Either way we are minutes away, and the quote is flat.
My new build already has rough-ins. Can you finish them?
Yes. Builders often rough in future circuits (basement, EV, garage) without finishing them. We complete the runs, install the devices, and pull the ESA permit for the new work.
Is it worth adding pot lights to a builder-finished main floor?
It is one of the highest-impact upgrades in a newer home. Most Brooklin main floors have attic or between-floor access that lets us install without major drywall work, and everything goes on dimmers.
Do older village homes need special handling?
They need respect more than anything. Plaster walls, undocumented renovations, and mixed wiring generations are normal in the village core. We investigate before we quote so the flat price holds.
